Are berries bad for acid reflux?
Depends on the person
Berries are healthy but some, like cranberries and raspberries, are fairly acidic. Many people tolerate them in normal portions.
Tips
- Mix berries into porridge or yoghurt rather than eating a big bowl on their own.
Try instead
Banana or melon
Is it a trigger for you?
Reactions vary a lot between people. Log berries in the symptom diary for two weeks: it shows how often each food is followed by symptoms. Then try two weeks without it and compare.
