Is yoghurt good for acid reflux?
Usually well tolerated
Plain, low-fat yoghurt is usually well tolerated. Full-fat or very sweet yoghurts may be less so.
Tips
- Top with banana or melon rather than citrus or berries if you are sensitive.
Is it a trigger for you?
Reactions vary a lot between people. Log yoghurt in the symptom diary for two weeks: it shows how often each food is followed by symptoms. Then try two weeks without it and compare.
